Bodh Gaya Kadampa Buddhist Center was founded in 2007 by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition. The Center makes the special methods for developing inner peace taught within Kadampa Buddhism available to the people of Bayside and neighboring counties.
Bodh Gaya Kadampa Buddhist Center is a member of the International Union of Kadampa Buddhist centers with over 1000 Centers worldwide.
